Written in biro on my natural would dresser how do i get it off this dresser is very precious to me

is it waxed or varnished?

If varnished you can sand off and re-varnish
if waxed a bit trickier as the patina of new wax is different to old wax on wood.

It is waxed would white spirit get it off

to remove biro ink from furniture, soak a cloth in milk, squeeze out the cloth and rub it on the biro mark
