Anyone got a Bissell Crosswave?

I'd like to buy a mop/vacuum/carpet cleaner and this looks like it does it all.

Does anyone have any experience of it good or bad?

Yes I do and I don't rate it. I used it once and that was that. It's just sitting in the garage. I found it really heavy to use (and faffy to clean), but maybe that was just as I'm used to a lightweight dyson and am prone to a bad back and neck. The solution was a bit dear too. I lent it to my mum and she said she would prefer to hire out those carpet shampoo machines rather than borrow it again. I pictured using it at least once a week but I haven't worked up the energy to get it out again!

Thanks Still that's really useful to hear. I was on the cusp of purchasing as it has great reviews.

Is yours the cordless one?

@Babymamaroon sorry for delay, no it's the corded one which is a pain in itself, maybe the cordless is lighter and more manageable?

Possibly! But I've now been put off so thank you Smile

I have one. I LOVE it. My hard floors have never been so clean, and it's so easy to clean rugs too!

@Babymamaroon I bought one a few weeks ago and it's brilliant. I have the cordless. I find it's so quick to clean downstairs and can't believe the dirt that it picks up compared to a mop that just pushes the dirt around. I find it's really easy to manoeuvre, especially being cordless. And the mop head is self cleaning.

Expensive, but well worth it in my opinion.

Thanks both for your replies. I've just bought a RoboVac which mops. I feel like I need a whole army of different cleaners!
