mouldy books

We recently moved a bookcase and discovered the wall behind it is damp and mouldy . Unfortunately, lots of the books have mould on them too. Can they be cleaned or do they need to go?

try delicately cleaning them with wet wipes

Try cleaning them then leaving them in the sun to dry. However, I personally would probably get rid of them.
