Your best heated clothes airers/dryers

Moving in to an apartment soon. No garden and from previous experience I don't want to be hanging clothes on airers where they take forever to dry.
Heated airers seem like the way forward.
But which one?! The prices vary massively

The Dry soon from Lakeland , expensive but fantastic and their customer service is spot on

Love our Lakeland one but you definitely need the cover to go with it.

Dry soon Lakeland. Love it

2007Millie · 12/06/2020 16:11

Damn, I was worried people were going to say this as the price is one of the highest but if it works good then it works

Good advice about the cover, thank you

Another for dry soon, always using it

whatthefuckamisupposedtodo · 12/06/2020 18:34

Also yes to the cover

My lakeland heated airer has been a god send, I used old duvet covers over it instead of the official cover.

Now I have a ceiling airer, if you have high ceilings I'd recommend one of those, cheaper and quick.

Lakeland one is amazing! Have tried two other brands, one burnt a line on clothes and the other did nothing!

Lakeland one still going strong 8 years on. (Used several times a week)

I'm thinking about getting one of these. If you use the cover does it contain the damp in it?

mrsbyers · 13/06/2020 17:36

@welliesarefuntowear no it works by retaining more heat but it’s not a really thick cover just helps to speed up the drying. I have the cover for mine but previously used an old duvet cover which worked just as well

Get a dehumidifier too
