Washing FC zinc sofa cushions

Just wondering if anyone has washed their dfs zinc sofa and it survived? Mine is 3 years old and up until now I have only spot cleaned. Was told by dfs that cleaning ruins the fire resistant coating.

But now it’s starting to look a bit grubby and smelly and with the recent arrival of our newborn has had a few milk spills and baby sick incidents.

Do you think washing would be a terrible mistake?

You've probably already resolved this but I bought mine around the same time as you. I washed it once. It was difficult to put it back on. Wash it on 40 or less. I've also just had a baby and I wanted to wait to have it washed. He's 11 months old now and it looks worse everyday woah all the foody things on it. Yesterday he pee'd on it. The day before it was vomit... proper smelly vomit. So I've decided to put it in the wash again. This time I'll do a long wash on 30 and hope for the best because it looks so bad. Hoping it works
