Saucepans with metal handles

Looking to buy new saucepans.

Am a big Le Creuset fan but their saucepans (and other similarly priced ones) have metal handles.

Do they get too hot to hold?! I'm used to silicone handles and when I used cheap saucepans with metal handles I had to use a cover/tea towel which frankly I can't be arsed with....

Are the pricier ones ok in that they're cool enough to hold?

I'd like ones where the whole saucepan can go into the oven. Hopefully someone else can advise.

Most of our pans have metal handles.
The pan with C shaped handles, I always need a cloth to pick up.
Pans with longer handles are usually ok for e.g. veg, but if I've been simmering a ragu for hours, are too warm to comfortably hold.
On the plus side, the handles dont deteriorate like the plastic ones did when DH left them overganging a flame Hmm

Thanks that's super helpful. I think I shouldn't be afraid (ha!) of metal handles. It's just that I don't often put whole saucepans in the oven as I use my cast iron pan for that.
