Mission

It was very nice to read last nights messages. One of my neighbours HEs, and I'm fascinated by it. Not for me, though. I'm sure I couldn't do it.

Tortoise is on dial up atm, so posting erratically, but I think she is getting broadbad again soon Squatchette

Ok, have had a look at the missions for this week and am not going to be able to catch up. So have decided to start again next week! Can I be forgiven for not doing the missions the last few days weeks months? Ah well, 5 weeks of working the zones and my house will be back up to scratch.

Off shopping now.

gibberish · 21/09/2007 13:54

Ooooh forgot to say, dd1 bought me a mug saying 'Domestic Goddess in Disguise' Is very funny - great pics on it!

Jas · 21/09/2007 14:20

gibberish you don't have to try and catch up. Bathroom will come round again next month FLYlady says something along the lines of "just jump in where you are" and a thing about not expecing perfection.

Hello to all once again.

Jas I'm very pleased that you had a parcel from the toy company.

EHM What is a bottom of the oven roll? Sorry if that's a stupid question!

luda What course are you doing? Is it Wlpan or Dosbarth Nos or another one?

Neverenough I was born about an hour (by car) away from you, then!

Right. I must carry on. I've just had a cup of tea. I'd better go and walk the dog as it's not raining just now. It has been for most of today so far.

ludaloo · 21/09/2007 14:55

gibberish well done on the list
I haven't done all the missions either.
I like the sound of the mug

ludaloo · 21/09/2007 15:02

Simply Um...not sure! It says the course is by Cymraeg I Oedolion
(Canolfan Canolbarth Cymru) Its a ten week beginners course....says its sponsered by the Welsh Assembly Government. The lessons are in the next village along (T)

I was looking at courses held in our local town, but the times were inconvenient (late in the evening...or at school picking up times) and I'd have to add half an hour on each way for travelling, so when I spotted the ones locally I opted for them.

gibberish · 21/09/2007 15:48

Thanks luda. Glad I got it finished - can relax tonight or do the ironing whilst watching telly. Hmmm, difficult choice NOT! Ironing can wait until tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after that.

Been shopping. Shop was packed and traffic horrendous! Never shopping at this time again...

yaddayah · 21/09/2007 15:53

Oh good gravy gibber thats a dangdoodly list

Have been out (took dd to a soft play centre with a friend and her dd) Have drunk too many coffee's and now a bit wired !

Need to do some ironing and sort out some tea... sigh

gibberish · 21/09/2007 15:56

and dangdoodly - that's a new one for me! maybe I need to drink gallons of coffee to get me wired and ready to tackle the ironing...

I'm whacked. Really can't be bothered to start cooking. Wonder if the family would mind starving tonight...

Crap about the flooring (had similar thing happen to us last year .. it drove me nuts.. just picture it when its all lovely and done

EHM · 21/09/2007 17:05

Hello everyone

Just read thread quickly. simply I was brought up & told never be afraid to ask a question, questions are never silly. If you don't know what something is ask, or you may never know. Bottom of the oven muffins/rolls are soft bread rolls which are quite flat, but yummy. I think they are a regional to Lancashire, but I could be wrong. We used to buy them when we lived in Scotland, then my Mum could get them in Morrisons in the North East. Sister can buy then in Manchester. I discovered them by chance yesterday when I was placing my Tesco on line order. They are dh's favourite for breakfast. so sorry for the ramble

Right off to get Ellie tea ready. Have a great evening all(ps gibberish impressive flying today)

EHM · 21/09/2007 17:06

ruby sorry to hear things won't be finishefd until Tuesday(cutch) Hope sleepover is a success

gibberish · 21/09/2007 18:06

Thanks EHM

ruby You poor thing. It never rains but it pours eh? My girls are watching the High School premier too, only here and I have to endure it. Can't stand it, sooo cheesy... but I suppose it's harmless.

gibberish · 21/09/2007 18:15

simply have mailed you back Sorry for the delay - I'm rubbish at keeping up with my emails. Always forget to check them!

Simply · 21/09/2007 21:48

Just a quickie.

gibberish I've e-mailed you back again!

EHM They sound really nice. I wonder if my local Morrisons do them? I'll take a look this w/e.

Ruby Sorry to hear about your flooring and stuff. I hope it gets sorted for you soon.

luda I should go back to Welsh classes. I don't want to try to do too much, though. There's my pt work, dh's full time work, 2 kids in sec school, house, dog, cat....do I have time to go to classes too? I don't know. I'll think about it again. Work would sponsor me, too but it's just the time commitment.

Nos da pawb/ Good night all.

squatchette · 21/09/2007 23:57
