Binmen have stolen valuables from infront of house - anyone had this?

Title says it all really! The binmen came onto our property today and took a box of exercise equipment and a mirror (both which were left in front of the garage) but you need to walk about 10m down the drive past our cars to get to it. We leave our bins on the pavement for them.

Anyone had this happen and know what I should?

You don’t know that the bin men took your stuff.

And you are incredibly naive if you think it could only have been your neighbour otherwise.

I live in a ‘nice’ road. Opportunistic theft has been off the scale these last few weeks, milk off doorsteps, parcels from behind bins / in porches , planters , benches, one neighbour even lost two mugs left on her front step while she took her chairs in.

A mirror and exercise equipment visible from the pavement would vanish within 10 mins.

And it really does take less than 30 seconds.

I very much doubt the bin men took it.
