and I'm really not sure whether I can be bothered to find it again this evening.

I've hoovered half of the lounge/diner (including pulling the sofa out and moving the chairs), have already cleaned the kitchen up after cooking dinner, done a small pile of ironing (and put most of it away) and made a start on cleaning off the junk at the end of the dining room table.

The rest of the lounge/diner could really do with finishing off, the kitchen floor badly needs mopping and I feel I really ought to be sitting down to right a letter to the child we sponsor..........

Should I go and find it (my get up and go) for another 1/2hr or so, or should I just put the hoover away and leave everything else until tomorrow???

Leave it!!

Feet up,
enjoy your evening!

thing is DH commented last night that the kitchen floor really needs doing and seen as though I have to explain to him that, yes my lovely parents have indeed lent us £60 until payday next week........but that my dad transferred it to the wrong account and £33 of it has been "swallowed" up paying the tiny unauthorised overdraft....and the subsequent £28 charge....leaving only £27 I kind of feel I need some "grovelling" ground

Couldn't you jsut finish the one room you started on

Or if the kitchen is freaking you out, give that a quick mop instead so it looks ok for breakfast tomorrow. Not that I assume you eat off the floor...

I mean do ONE thing and then put your feet up and relax

Thats a right pain, the money going into the wrong account....that is what would happen to me

I hope you just gave up on the cleaning and stuff and just sat down

TheQueenOfQuotes · 20/09/2007 23:42

yep I just sat on my bum....until DH walked through the front door and I realised the hoover was lying right in the doorway of the lounge for his to fall straight over so dashed down to move it.

Told him about the "wrong" account saga - his response was something along the lines of "how did you manage to go overdrawn, I thought you just withdrew cash..................oh never mind at least we have something"
