how do i stop my rug slipping?

got a lovely rug in my living room. but we have laminate floor. how do i stop it slipping out of place all the damn time?

there are anti slip mats you buy to put underneath.

You can buy some anti-slip stuff from wilkos really cheaply.

You can get a roll of special sticky tape that attaches to the underside of the rug to stop it slipping (but does not leave any residue on the floor) - I cannot remember where you get it from (probably lakeland)- one too many glasses of wie

Or the cheaper way is to paste childrens glue (the white stuff that comes in giant pots) on the back of the rug - in a line around the edge on the underside of the rug , then let it fully dry and it will form a rubbery layer that will grip the floor but again does not leave any residue - hope that makes sense!!

Ikea do anti-slip stuff (or at least they did do so check first)-it looks like rubbery netting.
