Silk bedding

I have such a hot apartment I love the idea of beautiful grey silk bedding.

Will this indeed be lovely and cool?

Where is good to buy this from?

Will it cost me a few hundred?

Thank you 🙏

Silk is actually very warm. Mountaineering undergarments are often made of silk.
Silk coupled with memory foam - fab in the north of Scotland in January , not so good in August.
Silk pillowcase is a nice compromise though, kind on your hair and face.
Yes it will be expensive.
Cotton or linen will be cooler.

Oh really? I have cotton now... Yes maybe a silk pillowcase

Linen is cooler as it is a reed and reeds are hollow. It is stiff to start but after a few washes, it starts to soften.

I have some very high thread count fine cotton bedding with a silky finish, it’s beautiful. Got it in Home Sense a couple of years ago, so it wasn’t too costly. I think that would be a better bet.

My husband insisted on silk bedding. It is a complete pain as it can inly be hand washed which never seems to clean it properly. Even the silk setting on the washing machine seems to ruin the softness.

You've all convinced me!
Any suggestions on where to get beautiful quality bedding?
