Cleaning a 5 bed house

Hi all - can I have your cleaning tips please? We recently moved to a really sizeable 5 bed 3 bath house, after being in a smaller flat for years. Short question - how do you manage cleaning in a house that takes all day to clean? Like do people do X cleaning jobs on a Wednesday for instance to avoid spending the whole of every day one weekend cleaning? Anyone have any good tips?! (I have two small kids too...)

I have a six bed house with 3 bathrooms and 5 kids, I have a cleaner 2-3 times a week and just keep in top of everything as I go. Still unpacking so haven't really got into a routine yet just tidy as I go through. Couldn't live without my cleaner🤪

Women's work again. OP you could lower your standards as others have said, and live with untidyness in general.

My rule of thumb is keep the kitchen (where everyone, including visitors gather), and downstairs bog clean. So visitors will think the whole house is pristine! LOL.

Take it easy, no one died because a sheet was left on a bed for two weeks and a day, or the stairs weren't vacuumed yesterday and every day.
