Best vacuum for loop pile carpet

Our loop pile carpet is bobbly! I’m really upset about it, as it’s not even been down a year and it was not cheap.

I think it must be the Henry hoover. I do tuck the bristles away when hoovering the carpet but I just don’t know what else it could be. It must be the Henry as Henry’s are known for being super strong, aren’t they? So I think the suction is too rough or something.

I think it is worth investing in a new vacuum.. Otherwise the carpets will be completely trashed!

So advice please on which vacuums are good in general and specially for loop pile carpet.

Thanks!

Needs to be a cylinder so something like a Miele cat & dog would be good. Or I think you can use a Dyson upright in wand mode, but do check that first!
