A bit , but felt the need to confess...

DD wet the bed (and is delightful and wraps her legs round her duvet) - tis a cotbed size one so fits in the machine.

In my sleepy haze I chucked it in the machine and didn't take it apart.

Have just taken it out, realised it is all together, so have hung it on the line like it so I don't have to bother later

Please tell me other people do stuff like that?!?

I really want a scooba now thanks to this thread, but I can't find anywhere in the UK selling the latest model, and the only ones on ebay from the US don't come with a warranty .

Get a cleaner

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/09/2007 14:29

Had one. Crap and v expensive. Sacked her. Can't get a cleaner to come every day time the kitchen floor needs cleaning though!

The inside of my oven is disgusting and the glass doors look grim aswell....i do what i call the tea towel trick.....hand a lovely bright, ironed tea towel over the handle of the oven it hides the glass and you can't see the disgusing inside!! Oh and i make sure my kitchen work tops are clear and cleaned but everything is shoved in cupboards and they are a disgrace, but knowone sees inside really!

Blow your nose whilst having a wee, the wee is expelled quicker, and you've killed two birds with one stone.

Flamesparrow · 20/09/2007 14:31

Lol, I never came back to this

Invite your mother to stay for the night.
If she is owt like mine the place will be spotless by the time she leaves - especially if there is some reason why she has to be left on her own for any length of time

i make dd wear skirt on first day then pinafore next day to cover up the mess on her shirt. oh and i'm convinced body heat really does work better than an iron!

Ecmo · 20/09/2007 14:49

then you can say....

"oh no he's moulting again...look at all that hair and dust he's dropped since I vacuumed this morning!"
