Loft storage of clothing

Having a big clear out and would like to get a better system of rotating and storing clothes. Does anyone have any advice about storing clothes in the loft? Are those vacuum pack bags any good? Am worried about clothes getting musty or subject to the occasional visiting mice.

Yes to vacuum bags. I use them for spare pillows and duvets. With clothes, I just have a few summer/winter items in a suitcase under the bed, but try to minimise that as part from my decluttering quest.
