Cleaner to scrub toilets ?

Hi, what do you get your cleaner to do once she comes in and how often do you have them come. And at what rate do you pay them? I feel bad making them clean toilets, AIBU ?

My cleaner cleans/mops/dusts all floors, surfaces and yes, cleans the loos! He also does the ironing. He comes 3 times a week for approx 3 hours a time. We pay him roughly £100 a week, so roughly £10ph. We live in the ME though, I don't think it's that common to have a cleaner so frequently in the UK, but with cats, kids and sand/dust storms, 3 times weekly is pretty standard.

Why wouldn't you want them to clean the toilets?

I would say though, that the house is always neat and tidy before he starts - beds made, toys away, dishwasher stacked, kitchen sides clear etc, so all he has to do it actually clean. We have a decent sized (200sqm) 3 bed, 3 bath house.

Yes of course they clean the loos BUT the loos shouldn't actually be 'dirty'. I go round the seats with anti bac wipes and throw some bleach down there before my cleaner comes. She will never see a stained loo here that would mortify me

I also make all the beds before the cleaner comes but she remakes them (?!) I don't mind tho because she does it super neatly

I always make sure my toilets are cleaned before the cleaner comes , she does then put bleach down and probably does them again but I couldn’t expect someone to clean a soiled toilet

Of course cleaners clean toilets 🤔
