Just that

Such a mess.. both working full time at hone so no time to clean and the weather has been so nice I've had no inclination to do it when I'm not working

Garden is looking better but requires lots of trips to the tip

I had hoped we would get more done in the house in the last 7 weeks of lockdown but sadly it looks worse than ever!

Any tips for getting it in order for when we can have people around again?

No tips unfortunately tbut will be following.

We are tackling things slowly but DH working full time and I'm juggling a four year old and a seven month old who both need different things at different times.

By the time they're in bed I'm shattered and just want to lie on the sofa. Cleaning is so far down my priority list it's unreal. Not helped by the fact that we usually have a cleaner twice a week because I just hate doing it.

Usually DH will clean the kitchen of an evening and I'll wipe over the loos and sinks while DS1 is in the bath. I think DS1 has had enough because he actually asked to tidy up his bedroom yesterday.

Yep, me too. Also, my very lovely cleaner, who manages my inability to ‘get’ cleaning, hasn’t been here since lockdown started.

I will never be one of these people who can’t settle down in the evening if there is a cup that needs washed, or ironing to be done.

Following for motivation.
