Eco egg for laundry

Just bought one of these and we are all struggling with the odd smell left on the laundry. It looks clean, but has a strange musty/sweaty type odour. I did a hygiene wash with white vinegar before I used the egg for the first time, so don’t think it is the machine. Really disappointed as trying to be as green as possible, but the smell is odd. Not awful, but not nice. Does anyone else use these and find them ok?

Definitely not a fan unfortunately. Didnt find that it made my clothes feel particularly clean either. I too was looking forward to using it as a more eco friendly option but like found soap nuts to be better

I’ve been using it and am happy with it, but I am using a capful of fabric softener too so no bad smell. Probably defeating the object a little bit, but working on the basis that every little helps! Don’t think it’s much good for any marks or stains, they definitely need pre-treating but overall happy.

I understand they don’t work over 60c, so no use to me
