Fairy pods not dissolving!

Anyone else have this problem?
I use fairy pods on a 40 degree wash and every time, there is gunk in the rubber liner, I thought maybe the temp wasn't high enough to dissolve the pods so tried a 60 degree wash, still had the same problem.
Anyone have a solution or another recommend washing powder suitable for a eczema prone baby?
Thanks

We're all ridiculously skin-sensitive and have had to migrate through loads of washing powders/liquids/tabs over the years. We're currently using liquid Surcare, which is blissfully non-irritant and also extremely low odour. Brilliant stuff. It's a pour a capfull into the tray type.

Is the machine too full?

BlessMeDarkFather · 07/05/2020 12:09

I may have to give that a go thanks for the suggestion 😊
No it's never too full, I'm to paranoid about it braking to over fill it!

Good luck! It's a pig, isn't it.

Fairy comes in liquid too, there's always that as an option.

Fairy also comes in a power and liquid so maybe try those

Have you cleaned your washing machine recently? Could be gunk from the tube rather than the pod itself.
