Bloom and Wild

I am thinking of ordering from Bloom and Wild and maybe treating myself to a subscription. My DD was 21 recently and was sent a beautiful bouquet from here and they have lasted 12 days and looked stunning. Would anybody recommend any type of subscription ie. letterbox or hand tied? Any reviews?

Has anyone had a subscription? I'm tempered but worries that the flowers I get won't be as impressing as the ones I usually buy singularly?

Lordfrontpaw · 13/06/2020 18:31

I bought one ad a gift and get photos of them when they arrive and after one and two weeks. They look pretty when they arrive and open up beautifully. They last a while too.

bubbleup · 13/06/2020 18:41

I love them

My link for £10 off and I get £10 too Grin

I've had lots of b&w bouquets in the past bit I'm wondering about the '3 months for £20' and whether the flowers you get each month are on a par with their normal ones

Mirrorxx · 13/06/2020 18:48

The peonies I had 2 weeks ago were very poor. Half of them never opened and the the other half arrived partly brown

JustAPassingFashion · 13/06/2020 18:50

Oh @Mirrorxx how annoying!! Did you contact them? I had an issue with one of my deliveries once and got in touch - they sent a replacement box out the following day with DPD

Thesuzle · 13/06/2020 18:53

A couple of things could be going on here, do the flowers have a conditioning instruction with them ? (Not just the flower food)
Are the guard petals on roses already removed ?

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 13/06/2020 19:09

I received some B&W last month for the first time. Very disappointing as 50% of the bunch was dead within 5 days.

Hard to tell isn’t it! My recipient is really happy with them and says they are gorgeous (and last well).
itbemay1 · 13/06/2020 19:14

I love bloom and wild! When they arrive they look dreadful but once they're in water for 24h they are beautiful! 40% off for NHS at the moment too

Talulahoopla · 13/06/2020 19:16

I had a subscription until I moved to a flat with no letterbox and miss them so much. They were lovely. Came looking a bit rubbish but once you prep and feed them, within 24 hours they come alive. Highly recommend them. Wouldn't hesitate to get them again.

RLGGG · 13/06/2020 19:18

Had some from in-laws a few weeks ago. They were really beautiful flowers but there weren't many of them so looked a little sparse in the vase (not sure if that was the desired look and I just didn't appreciate it lol)

Lindy2 · 13/06/2020 19:18

I did a 6 month Bloom and Wild subscription for my mum. She was delighted with it.

It was the post box flowers and she loved the fact that it was a surprise each month as to what the flowers would be. I found them very efficient, reliable and the flowers good quality.

madcatladyforever · 13/06/2020 19:24

It was the customer service that was so shocking. I was desparate for my mum to have something nice for mother's day as she has terminal cancer, the flowers arrived in an awful state with bits missing as I said before. I had to email this madam everyday for a week and then get the managing director involved. She was so nasty to me and the replacement didn't get there before two weeks which by that time mothers day was long gone and so is my mother. That was my last mothers day with her and my only memory is arguing with the absolute bitch in customer "services" to get a replacement. She was vile.

madcatladyforever · 13/06/2020 19:25

You do not want that kind of behaviour when someone is dying you just want an efficient replacement, the next day if possible.

JustAPassingFashion · 13/06/2020 19:29

@Talulahoopla which subscription did you have? I'm going to go do a 3 month one I think but can't decide on a price point!

Talulahoopla · 13/06/2020 19:47

@JustAPassingFashion really not sure, sorry 🤦‍♀️ My DP got me it as a surprise but given he was able to stop it as soon as I moved, I suspect the ongoing subscription. I think they were the basic/lowest price point but they never looked scrimpy and were always so full in the vase. They arrived once a month and that was absolutely fine because, as some pp have said, they sometimes lasted the best part of three weeks. There's a code on the website for 20% off if you order via the app - 20APPY. Sure you'll love them 💐

JustAPassingFashion · 13/06/2020 19:49

@Talulahoopla thank you!! I was going to go for the £20 but worried they'll be so much less full than the ones I usually buy.... I'll go for it though if you say not!!! Thanks so much!

Erictheavocado · 13/06/2020 19:55

I've both received and sent flowers from Bloom and Wild. Apart from one occasion, I've always been very happy with the flowers as have the people I've sent them to. On the one tine the recipient was disappointed - several looked dead on arrival, brown petals etc - customer service couldn't have been more helpful, sending out a replacement, upgraded bouquet immediately.
It's dreadful when you get an unhelpful agent, and it can do so much damage to the business as it really colours hour view of them. Thankfully, my experience with them couldnt have been better.

Talulahoopla · 13/06/2020 20:41

@JustAPassingFashion here's a few of the bouquets I received to give you an idea.

My mum loves the flowers I’ve sent her from bloom and wild. They last for ages apparently

JustAPassingFashion · 13/06/2020 20:43

@Talulahoopla thank you so much! I've ordered a 3 month one for now Grin

justkeepmovingon · 13/06/2020 20:45

They look dead! But they wake up and last for ages.. if they stay dead the customer serve is fab

PinkBlossom4 · 13/06/2020 20:51

I love Bloom and Wild always had beautiful letterbox flowers sent from my mum . I think it would a lovely present to get a subscription ! I just had some amazing peonies that were just perfect .

truthisarevolutionaryact · 13/06/2020 20:52

I'm looking at the remains of a Bloom and Wild bouquet delivered to me 16 days ago! I've removed the dying flowers and still have a lovely pink and white display - roses, alstromeria etc. So pretty and outstanding quality. So pleased and will now use them for all my future gifts.
Really impressed.
