Mould on shoes

I put away metallic coloured leather pumps last winter. I took them out today and there are little spots of black mould on them. How can i get rid of the mould without ruining the leather. It is worse on one shoe than the other so i can't pretend it's the pattern Smile

Did you put them away damp or is there a damp issue with where you put them? I've never been able to get mould out of fabrics and I imagine leather will be same unless it's sitting on the surface. Try a very weak bleach solution on a less noticeable bit of the shoe. Either dilute bleach or use Milton Fluid and wipe gently. If it works, stick the shoes outside in full sunlight to dry.

The shoes weren't damp but the room is north facing and perhaps a bit damp.
Thank you for your help. It's just one shoe- scattered over the front in tiny amounts.

This happened to a pair of shoes I had stored for ages (my wedding shoes- not white though) and I just rubbed it off with baby wipes.
