getting stains out of lino

any tips please? I've tried Cif and extra strong bleach with a sponge scouring pad, and my useless steam cleaner.

What's the stain?

ingrained dog crud of some description. my partner has laid a folded blanket on the lino for our dog, who has been lying on it on and off for months... I've been trying to ignore the fact that the lino underneath is now dirty, but I just repainted the space and I can't ignore it anymore.

is the magic sponge like the Flash eraser?
