Today's reminders and mission

I have loads to do, and at the moment am not sure if the dds will be going to school. DD1 really wants to go but probably could do with another day off. DD2 seems much better but wants to stay at home

I'm shattered. I went to bed at 11, was still up at 12 with sciatica, and ds was up at 1.

I'll drink more tea, and get dressed. Back in a bit.

Off to make a cuppa and will try and start my morning routine :

Morning routine

1. Make bed
2. Swish & Swipe bathroom
3. Put a washload in
4. Empty dishwasher
5. DRINK SOME WATER
6. Clear away breakfast things
7. Think about what you want for dinner - take out meat if necessary.
8. 2 minute hotspot
9. 5 minute room rescue

Morning all, can I join?

I did try to join the big Flylady thread last week, but it was a bit like trying to run before I could walk.
I don't really want to start all the way at the beginning, I used to FLY last year under a different name, and some habits have stuck (but not the shoes in the hosue one)

Will go and read your previous threads, to see where we are, and then try to catch up, if I may?

Youngest dc starts school full-time today and I need something (anything) to keep my mind off this.

mylastrolo I've been doing the baby steps but I have been menu planning for a while (at least a couple of years). It was actually my DH's idea as he does all the cooking in the evening. It means we don't waste time buying groceries every night, and obviously works out cheaper that way.

I've made myself a proper daily routine:

Morning routine

1. Get me and girls washed and dressed incl. DD1's hair and my make-up
2. Breakfasts and clear away and drink water
3. Load and unload DW
4. Shine sink, wash up and sterilize bottles
5. Sweep kitchen/dining room and wipe surfaces
6. Start WM
7. Make beds
8. Empty litter tray or change cat litter
9. What's for dinner?
10. Take DD1 to nursery or DDs out

Afternoon routine

11. Make lunch and clear up and drink water
12. Kelly's Mission
13. 15 mins decluttering
14. 2 min hotspot *2
15. Errands and phone calls
16. DD2's physio
17. 15 mins somewhere
18. Hang up wet washing/put away dry
19. Collect DD1 from nursery or take DDs out

Evening routine

20. Tea for DDs
21. Bath DDs and put them to bed
22. Swish and swipe
23. Tidy toys
24. Put out clothes for next day
25. Pilates
26. Load DW/clear up/feed cat and drink water
27. Paperwork/internet stuff (eg finding child trust fund account!)
28. Read my book

jas take it easy today, I hope you can get some rest. Glad DD's are feeling a bit better.

Well...my morning routine is going ok, I have:
~Got up and washed, and dressed (and all the kids)
~Made beds
~Picked up dirty washing
~Put a load in W/M
~Made brekkie

Did D/W in my evening routine
S&S Bathroom in my evening routine

Off to do school/nursery run

hey everybody
im back with a vengence and ready to sort my house and get my routine back on track!
i have showered, swished, dressed, breakfasts, kids to school, shiny sink.
today i am going to
1 - bedclothes day
2 - hoover & dust
3 - grocery shopping
4 - lots of 2min hotspots
5 - 5min room rescue living room
6 - if i get time i am going to wash inside of windows
then i am going to read emails and everybodys plans to see what i have missed out

Morning all

It is like the FLY Hospital in my house. we have had a sicky weekend and all the boys have manflu. DH has gone to work, but is not well and I have two clingy boys adn the littleone is just holding on to my pants (I have resorted to a belt to keep them up)

Ludaloo I am so glad the weekend went well

I got my kitchen cuboard cleaned yesterday when the boys were all cuddling on the couch.

I've kept both dds home, so I can't go to work, and alot of the things I was planning to do will have to wait til tomorro now. I have to clear out a huge cupboard in what was our bedroom, so dp can get it ready to turn it into a shower.

Back from Dublin and playing catch up - though I did lots before we went, so it's not too bad. Did come home to a shiny sink, but mum has managed to partially block it - off for some Mr Muscle in a bit.

BigBeer - wow, you are so organised

Have managed most of morning routine, just going very slowly as ds decided that he wanted to get up and play for an hour in the middle of the night , so am a bit sleep deprived.

Will do the mission afer lunch when ds is (hopefully) asleep.

After my post last Weds (having left the FLYhospital, good phrase tmh, bet it would be clean in there!), I made a brief foray back into FLYing only to have my DS fall and split his head on Thursday!

One very exciting race to A&E in an ambulance, some knotted hair and superglue with an extended observation period we came home!

So I am going to now read all the FLYbaby threads I've missed and get stuck in tomorrow.

My DH is away so I can FLY after the children are in bed too! I'm sure I'll soon be back on the wagon - was it SMS that had fallen off too?

Am having a cuppa and some time on MN, then will swish and swipe downstairs rooms, and then I am meeting a friend for lunch.

Life is good, am feeling happy

Had a friend here for a couple of hours. But then again, I suppose I need to make sure I have a life as well as a cleaning schedule .

I got everything done on my morning routine

My afternoon routine looks like this :

1. Clear away lunch things
2. Empty/reload dishwasher
3. Hang out/collect washing
4. Swish & swipe downstairs loo
5. 15 minutes
6. DRINK SOME WATER

And I have done 1-4 already. Will do 5-7 in a bit....after Neighbours.

Ok, so:

Oh no my day has gone from bad to worse. decided to venture out, as DS2 was so clingy and bloody went and lost my mobile.

So now have to get them ready for photo's at 3.30 then dash off to find phone - reclaim it as is in M&S lost property and then home for tea with the clingons.

I had to change my trousers as DS2 kept pulling them dowm, he is not walking yet (15 months)

i have had a good day. i have done everything on my list except the washing of windows. when it came down to it, i just couldnt be arsed

i have still to
1 - cook dinner
2 - pick dh up from work
3 - check homeworks
4 - put bedclothes back on beds
5 - get kids to bed
6 - go for a run
7 - have a bath
8 - lie in front of tv/laptop for an hour or so

hi again,

hoovered downstairs and bathroom
washed kitchen floor with borex/w/v and bicarb and lemon juice works well

Did mission bathroom cabinet what a job much more space and organised my d/h will have a heartattack when he goes to get something have put his razor in there. room now

dust bunnies in bathroom mega clean in there. now able to s&s easily i hope.

showered washed hair after mega clean and gym
collected girls

home now getting ready for swimming.

easy tea tonight cheating with m&s chicken!!

finish off hoovering upstairs

sort out spare room with all the clean washing.
