Hopefully I can still get my new table dropped off this morning.

GO Scarborough we did visit many times in my youth. It was also the first place I had my first adult holiday 16/17 I think.Have a fab time & breath in lots of that sea air

I did manage to sleep well last night (yay!) but am still tired this morning
We have a busy weekend, the town carnival is tomorrow and there are activities starting from this evening so we'll be going along to it all I expect We also have my bro and SiL coming to stay tomorrow.
Dd has woken up looking very tired - she has big black rings under her eyes I hope she'll get through the day at school...

I'll be back once I have the house to myself with my list for today

Thanks for the thread Jas. Sorry to hear that your dd1 isn't well. I hope she feels better very soon. Thanks for the book offer link the other day. I've ordered a maths one for the children. I know they are older but I think there are a couple of things that haven't clicked with them. I think by saying "low carbon Scarborough", go means that she isn't flying anywhere and making a big carbon footprint. I hope you have a lovely holiday go.

Hi EHM. Good to speak to you. I'm trying not to work too hard. I worked yesterday as I had to leave work early on Weds due to ds being ill. He seems back to normal(ish) so was fit for school yesterday and today. Dh is working long hours atm. He was home at 10.30pm one night this week after being out since before 8am. Good news, I've been told twice this week that I'm looking much better now! I think www's bootcamp thread can take much of the credit for that.

luda I hope you have a good time this w/e. I think you have a party for one of the dcs? Perhaps this rain will clear away soon for you. Thanks for your concern over work. I hopefully will be able to clear the backlog from being on hols within the next week or two.

My morning routine seems to be going very well I have~
~made beds
~emptied and relaoded dw
~s&s kitchen
~made packed lunches
~put first load of washing in wm
~done homework with dd
~got everyone up, dressed and out on time

I now need to~
~tidy spare room ready for visitors
~run hoover round upstairs
~dust upstairs
~put away yesterdays clean washing
~more work on dds costume
~wrap and deliever/post presents for 2 friends who have new babys this week (1 had a girl, 1 had a boy )

Better go and make a start.

Simply It is a joint party...for DD1 and DS...tomorrow. The weather looks ok...it says sunny spells...but doesn't promise rain, so fingers crossed!

I have been a busy bee already this morning..

Oh...Blossom I usually do the cakes and things the day before. I did rice crispie cakes yesterday though, as they were going into nursery with DS this morning. I do the sandwiches, sausages, sausage rolls...that kind of thing in the morning before the party starts...12-2pm

Well...Chocolate Cake is done...just cooling ready to ice.
Strawberry heart jelly for DD and Orange car shaped jelly for DS...in fridge setting.
I have descovered I don't have enough syrup for the flapjacks...will have to take another trip to the shop! (they must think I'm a right air head in that shop! LOL)

Right...washing needs swopping over...and dry washing needs folding, so I'll quickly do that before collecting DS.

Well sorry to gibberish on wed evening-I got kicked off PC and then can't post at work on Thursdays and then we went out til late so sum total of Flying yesterday was 0!
So going to get cracking this afternoon when I come back from lunch with a friend.....

I've had a busy 40 mins just now so I've done some housework. I thought to come on here to challenge someone else to a mad push on but I knew that I would never get off here if I did I just got on with it instead so I could brag afterwards!

You've been getting on well, shouldbe. I do admire you for making a costume. I had such a look of horror on my face some years ago when dd needed a dance costume that a friend offered to make hers and mine!

EHM Hello! Thanks for sympathy about dh's hours. He'll be away a fair bit next month so I should be grateful that he's home overnight atm. Strangely enough, this is supposed to be a quiet time in work but it has been really busy for 6 mths or more.

My Organised Mum stuff has arrived so I'm going to open the package and see what they are like. This time I've ordered a Weekly Planner and a Pocket Life Book. Last time I had the Life Book but I've found it to be too big. I might go for a filofax type of thing next time (Christmas present idea for dh?) as I'd like to write in the addresses and tel nos once, not every single year. Break time over. See you later!

Grrr why oh why can't I find the glitter I need for dds costume????? I was certain I'd put the tube in my craft drawer but it appears I didn't and now it's lost this means a 15mile drive to buy some more

I get so very excited at the thought of a party...
I've made 2 cakes in the end...made a chocolate cake, then decided it wouldn't be big enough....so made a sponge cake too with pink icing. 2 lots of jelly...biscuits and fairy cakes. I'm having a job keeping picky fingers off! I also have no room in my kitchen!
Well I am still hideously un organised....I need to
~Clean toilet...and bathroom
~Clean fish tank
~Clean out the Guinea Pigs
~Hoover throughout
~Fold 3 loads of washing
~Put away said washing
~Bath the kids
~Cook the rest of the food for party
~General Tidy
~ummmmm and general lay out of food and organise house and garden for tomorrow!

Just popping in to say Hello.
I am soooo tired and my legs are really aching. I don't remember ever feeling as shattered as this.

DD1 is stilling crying when i leave her at school. She is the only one! I was hoping by now she would of been ok. Back to mornings next week so we will see how that goes.

Am going to get back into this next week with a vengeance even with work my life needs to return to some order after the summer upheaval.

I have missed you all and hope you are all ok. My house is a mess and am going to start to shine my sink over the weekend baby steps are what I need (and to finally unpack my stuff)!
