Alternatives to buying laundry sanitiser

I have been buying and using Dettol antibacterial laundry sanitiser and been adding it to my washes. However, it really doesn't last very long and is £4.50 a bottle. I would like to add something to my wash to rid ourselves of any germs. It is all mainly sweat pants, jeans, T shirts and running gear so no delicates.

Any alternatives I can use to add to the wash instead?

I also only use it (+bio washing powder) for stinking gym kit. It absolutely does work at removing pongs at 30/40 degree that wouldn't shift before.

I use wilko own version and by sheer fortune stocked up with several bottles before this all hit. But I will definitely try napisan in future too, thanks to pp for the tip!

My everyday clothes simply get hotter washes with non bio powder.
