Flat roof and birds !!

Our master bedroom is under a dorma (flat roof with no roof/loft insulation) this time of year and all through summer crows in particular land on the roof and are really really noise.. to be clear I definitely don't want to hurt them I was just wondering if anyone else had same problem ? Is there anything I could put up there to deter them? Thanks

I feel you pain, I lived in a house like this for a decade. Many a time I would bang the ceiling (with no effect) or fling the window open a try to chuck a cup of water up there -pre internet days!
