I've got exactly this irritating, dust-gathering, clutter-munching space between my fridge and the wall, and it's where I have to keep my broom and mop and squeegee, etc, in a disastrous heap.

I can't attach grippy things to the fridge side or the wall because I cannot pull the broom straight out from the wall - the gap is so narrow it has to come out sideways. Besides, I'd have to remove broom and mop to get to the squeegee, and so on to get to the things behind. So I've been hunting for a slide-out rack with grippers or hooks.

Any idea where I can get such a thing?

ask Mrs Hinch. I bet she knows :)

Juststopit · 02/04/2020 09:55

I have no idea but I want one too! I have exactly the same gap and broom/mop issue

Bimbleberries · 02/04/2020 09:56

try a reverse image search on google to see where that picture is from, and then there might be a link.

Lakeland? That's just a guess, but it looks like a Lakeland sort of thing

Dilbertian · 02/04/2020 10:13

Of course Lakeland should have it. It absolutely is a Lakeland thing.

But they don't.

IKEA?

Dilbertian · 02/04/2020 10:15

I have no idea how to do this.

It's a pinterest picture, and I do not understand how to use Pinterest, either! I can never find sources there, and end up bombarded with all sorts of rubbish I'm not interested in.

From a small bit of googling, I think the product in your original image is this:

www.amazon.co.uk/SlideTM-Organizer-Furniture-Recommended-Organize/dp/B00UH75QLO?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Gatekeeper · 02/04/2020 10:20

seems to be a item in USA

you could cobble one up though using a drawer runner and thin lenght of wood and one of these www.amazon.co.uk/slp/mop-and-broom-holder/862xtnn93t6aojf?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Try searching for 'store n slide holder'

Paddingtonthebear · 02/04/2020 10:21

It’s called Store 'N Slide Mop and Broom Organizer

3littlemonkeys82 · 02/04/2020 10:21

Bloomburger · 02/04/2020 10:22

starfishmummy · 02/04/2020 10:35

When things are back to "normal-ish" find a local handyman and see if they can make you something

Times10 · 02/04/2020 11:41

Oh, it’s very clever, isn’t it! We’ve put our brooms on the kitchen door instead, but this looks like a much better idea!

CMOTDibbler · 02/04/2020 11:45

If you email Lakeland with the picture and suggest they do something like it, they might well consider it - I've seen things in the past where they said 'Mrs Jones sent us this picture of her ancient swede masher, and asked if we could help, so we did'

I'd buy one

Dilbertian · 02/04/2020 14:24

Good idea Dibbler! Thanks to PPs, I've been able to search for precisely that item, but it seems to be out of stock everywhere, including USA.

How do I contact them? I can't find an email address on the site, just contact forms.
