Whilst in lidl today picking up some pull up nappies for my daughter as they have been recommended by mumsnetters for value and performance I couidn't help noticing the price of the dishwasher tablets. I think they were 1.89 for 5 fgs!!!

Do they really work usually use tesco own brand and thought they were good value.

Thanks all

ps anything else I should try as I spend a fortune on good quality meat veg etc so cleaning things etc would be great.
Not sure I can forgo my andrex aloe vera toilet rolls!

I use their dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid, no problems with either, in fact I am sure their tabs are the same as tesco own brand ones, they certainly look it...!

well, I use their washing tablets, and water softener tablets (which means I only have to use 1 wash tablet, so I just paid £1.89 for 36 washes ) and they work just as good as the name brand ones (and better than ASDA own brand imo).

another convo on Lidl today ....here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/1375/387678

re the diswasher tabs....i didn't think they were all that good - it's one of the items i do NOT go for.....loads of other good stuff though - see above link

I use Lidls D/W tablets...TBH I prefer the more expensive ones (they do 2 kinds...5 in one...and a normal basic tablet...I can't remember how much they are off the yop of my head...but they do seem to be better...they are still rediculously cheap compared to most brands...they come in a shiny box, rather than a plain blue and yellow one)
