Which washing machine?

Budget £400 for a family of 4.

Have had 3 Beko machines over the past 15 years and wondering if it's worth trying something else for longevity or an I doomed to be part of throwaway culture forever with my budget?

Limited to online shopping for now!

Family/friends seem to recommend Samsung Ecobubble but mixed reviews online.

they are all designed to be non-repairable now with sealed drums, so go as cheap as possible.

make sure it has a square footprint (check measurements) not a rectangle. The latter dance across the kitchen unless wedged in place. Indesit Mytime 6kg was our mistake, thought a lower capacity would use less energy and so be better. But shit design.

That was my thought @mencken, £250 for a 9kg Beko.

If it lasts 3 years with 4-5 washes per week then it'll have done is job... Never thought to check the shape 🤦

I've got a Bosch one, was one of their cheapest, 15 years old and going strong.
