Can I get in a gardener

I have found a gardener who wants to work in this environment. With the lockdown are they able to work? I just don't want my neighbours complaining.

Common sense would make me think it’s ok if they are not interacting with you and if you are both as careful washing hands as you may potentially touch same surfaces. But I don’t know what official advice would say and think that’s important

Official advice is that those who cannot work from home should go to work and observe social distancing.

As long as your gardener is social distancing then it's fine.
