For under £180?

dh is convinced a Dyson is the only way to go. Is he right?

We need supersuction..and it's going to take a real hammering, so has to be a tough thing!

I would love to be pointed in the right direction. We have a morphy richards at the moment and it's shit.

JeremyVile · 11/09/2007 14:01

NOOOOO...
Dont do it, my bagless is the bane of my life! Constantly clogging and cutting out.

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 11/09/2007 14:02

bagless are crap, better to get a bagged with a reuasable bag.

mytwopenceworth · 11/09/2007 14:05

A reuseable bag eh?

I am surprised. I thought bagless was supposed to be the bees knees?

  • and thank you for answering me, btw.

my mum got a bagless to replace her old bagged then had to keep the bagged to hoover out the cylinder of the bagless when it got clogged!!

clarevoiant · 11/09/2007 18:33

I have to say, we used to have a miele bagged hoover and it was great for a few (actually probably nearer 10)years....
They do make good stuff :-)

Ok I am going to pee everyone off and say DYSON. I have had mine 8 years it has had one full service a la dyson engineer.

I love it, have bought a different branded smaller cylinder one for uspstairs as wanted one that hoovered under the cot and it is crap compared to the dyson.

I have long hair and I find my hair everywhere and the dyson deals with it no problem at all. It has took a hammering over the years and the service was excellent. I rang them because it had started to make a strange noise after 7 years and they made me turn it on and put the phone to the dyson to diagnose it!!!! Man came out, dismantled it, gave me new cleaning tool as I had broken mine, new cable as mine was going a bit bare in one bit all for £55.

And no I don't clean my dyson out and make it shine, I just empty it!
