Anyone going to be doing LESS cleaning?

I know I'll be doing less. Having 3 demanding dds that will need homeschooling help, and a husband who is WFH, will mean I get less done. Luckily I am very on top of the cleaning, but I'm noticing the mess starting to creep in (shoes being left around, "school" papers about the place, cups being left in odd places) and it's stressing me out more that I won't be able to keep on top of the housework as it is knowing I could be stuck indoors for months!

*what I meant to add (sorry hit post before I had finished) was that of course you need to make sure surfaces are cleaned and the house is hygienic but do not get stressed over a few shoes.
I've been sanitising frequently touched things like door handles, cupboard handles, light switches, the TV remote....
Toilet and kitchen always clean.

So instead of having a chin wag with his colleagues, DH can entertain the DC and clean at the same time!

Everyone can be taught to put stuff in the correct place, stop doing it for them

Could you involve the kids in the tidying up? Give each a box and ask them to collect their stuff?

Everyone helps, but I will really miss that everyone goes out in the day and on the days when I didn’t work I’d be left in peace get the house spick and span, I think if this goes on for months (and I expect it will) I’ll really miss that time to be able to get on a do things without someone coming behind me and undoing it.
