Ok - got vaseline on my lien trousers - how do I get it out as it hasnt washed out??!!

Typical - was putting it on the sores on DS bum and he twisted over as they do and got it on my trousers - it is a strip about 3 inches long!

Any ideas appreciated!

Iron with a piece of kitchen cloth to absorb the (hopefully) molten vaseline?
Fullers earth?
Dissolve with Meths and then wash out?

I've got grease out before by using a brown paper bag under a tea cloth and ironing - the paper absorbs the grease - not tried it on linen though.

I suspect you're stuffed because you've washed it.

will try them all - but you are prob right as I have washed them soupdragon! They are getting too big for me and it is coming to the end of their usefulness, but I love them (were only from Primark!!!!!)

Youneed something soapy to remove grease. I got some on a linen shirt once & this worked for me....

Put kitchen towel under the stain, dab washing up liquid on the area...leave for a few minutes, re apply, then wash.

Should be as good as new!
