Not sure what is going on toilet was working fine earlier just had a bath and whilst in bath could hear gurgling from the toilet didn’t think any of it at first then when I got out and looked as the bath was draining the toilet water was rising.
Now have flushed toilet a few times and it’s rising to the brim then going back down but doesn’t take any water away with it so clearly I can’t use it. It’s also now bubbling and water is coming up in the bath..
I’ve put some drain unblocker down the bath plug but doesn’t seem to be doing much .. I have one toilet and live in a block so not sure if this is a communal issue too.
Called emergency plumber they are saying £150 just for a call out ?!
Any ideas what to do ?? As I said was working fine earlier this only happened after my bath
