I have been cleaning a shower cubical since 9.30 this am.

However i,m still not happy with the results

I generally give a wipe down every week but the difficulty is cleaning all those little places that get gunged up with limescale etc
(shower door hinges bottom etc)

I used viakill limescale remover left on for several minutes then rinsed off with hot water. I then used tesco bathroom cleaner used a toothbrush for fiddly places rinsed off then used more limescale remover then rinsed off finally but bleach along the seal I have mould problem there. Then rinsed off.

Still not tackled front off shower door.

Surely it can,t take this long. Any tips canI use a better product?

Really wish I could do it quicker as I,ll only tackle when daughter out of way at preschool she's 2.6 don't like to have strong cleaning stuff out when she is around. Thanks

Sorry, elbow grease to get it clean is my only (unhelpful) suggestion,

but when it is clean, how about one of those shower sprays, the last one to use the shower sprays the whole cubicle and it works its magic until tomorrow. That way you shouldn't get any limescale etc in the first place. There's a proper one, or ASDA do a cheaper imposter version!

Too late for this time, but next time try spraying on Ajax Shower Power first and having a very good rub of the tiles and door with an e-cloth. Then do Viakal with toothbrush, rinse and bleach.

I often leave the bleach in the corners (having rubbed it in with a toothbrush) overnight.

I remove the doors off the rails as I have a corner entry shower cubical (hate it) and give it a good scrub then use that 'shower shine' stuff for spraying on after each shower.

When I was selling my last house I would squeegee the doors and then wipe the tray out daily with an old towel.

Will be aiming to do that again soon when Ds1 is in school for the full day - they are doing mornings only this week.
