can you cook a chicken in microwave

Yuk, cant think of anything worse. Rubbery microwave chicken! Bleugh!

You are better off cutting up the chicken and frying it....

I'd be tempted to carve it and finish off on stove. Maybe in gravy as a sort of braised chicken.

Microwaved whole chicken is very good. It comes out more like poached chicken in a flavoursome chicken stock. No rubbery thighs or dry breast!

I do it in a glass casserole with a lid, for 8.5 minutes per 450g, at 600W power.

Only drawback is no yummy crispy skin.

If it's a combi microwave, ie can also work as a convection oven, just heat it up and finish the chicken off in it. No problem.

I had chicken in a microwave years ago when at a friends house and it was horrid....guess it depends on the cook Grin

Good luck with it OP. Maybe you can crisp up the outside in a frying pan
