I hate hate hate the fragrance that's in. I've had to put it outside after trying it again today only to be reminded I loathe it. Been away and house smells catty so as well as cleaning floors and airing I thought I'd burn it a while. It's horrible!
Can I empty it and clean it or do I need a new wick and stone to get rid of this vile smell ? It's making me feel ill. But I hear it purifies the air well so keen to try again
And give me a nice fresh smell I can buy. I'm binning this Christmas oil. EnvyConfusedEnvy

Has anyone tried the mandarin or the basil and lime oils? I crave freshness. Rather like when I was pg......though should be impossible now!

I have a few of these lamps, and my absolute favourite is Rose & White Oud, but may be a bit heavy for you. Fresh linen is lovely, or Water Lily. Can't vouch for any others (I need to buy more!)

I had Moroccan Spice and hated it, so I got a new wick and stone, and cleaned out the lamp well. It was fine.

I think that's what I have and it's way too strong but I normally love Christmas type smells. Have seen some cheap on amazon so maybe will treat myself

It will go as soon as you burn another. Personally I love Morrocan Spice but I'm a sucker for strong smelling cinnamon fragrance.

I have one of the A&B lamps, they are lovely but mine is gathering dust...I was sent the wrong style and they refused to replace or swap it...but kind of dented the appeal a bit for me. It's pretty but not my style, it's a sort of gothic silver with crimson, pinks, and purples. Small Vampiress if anyone wants a swap? I have snuffer cap, decanter, and original box still. Stone and wick very good condition. I want to buy another one in lighter colours Grin

I love how they work but found that the oil runs out quickly and the cost soon added up of replacing oil when it's £9-15 or so a bottle. I'd love to know any tips or cheaper oil alternatives for them.

Don't lose the snuffer cap either, it's a right pain if you do Grin The oil really will vanish then, what's left in lamp evaporates if you don't put little cap then big cap back on.
