Washing DFS sofa cushions

Hi there!
Just doing a deep clean of our house.
We bought and cream DFS corner sofa in 2018 .... payed all the extras scotch guard and the sofa pack thing they sell! First new sofa we’d bought so just thought we’d have everything.
Now I’m desperate to wash the covers! All of the cushions come off and all have zips on them! I used to wash our second hand sofa cushions we had previously with no problems.
I’m just looking for advice really .... or do I just bite the bullet and pay for a professional cleaner?
Any advice/tips really welcome 😊

I always wash ours. I just bung them in the machine on a 30 degree wash and then cool tumble and they’ve always been fine! Bit of a gamble but works for us!

We wash ours all the time and they are okay. If you are nervous, put them on a gentle cycle and spin.

We have a DFS sofa with removable covers and we take them off and wash them whenever they look particularly grubby. We do a 30 degree wash, slow spin, and we don’t put them in the dryer or hang them over radiators.

Yes I’ve done this as the faff of getting the cleaning company out was too much hassle. Like pp I washed them at 30%. They came up really well. My daughter has also washed hers and they were fine.

Thank you for all your advice!
I was so nervous I washed one test cover and dried it! Came up lovely smells and feels so fresh! Now to wash and dry the rest of the covers 😊

I’ve just put mine back together today and wash it regularly (and tumble dry!) I won’t be paying for scotch guarding again since it needs washed regardless so seems a waste of money.
