Ours is new, only had it a week I’ve noticed the powder isn’t fully being emptied from the drawer. It’s getting wet and about half is used the other half so of solidifies and stud in the drawer. I’ve used 40 degree washes so far.

Any ideas?

I'm also not made of money but I need a washing machine that lasts so used my savings to buy the Miele when it was on offer and came with a ten year warranty too. I paid just under 1000 for it but with the warranty this works out at £100 a year cost comparison to my Samsung that only lasted 5 years makes the Miele cheaper overall.

Love my Samsung! I fling powder straight into the drum on top of the washing, but only a small amount. I have a scoop which I've drawn a line on so that i don't overfill.

I have an ecobubble and always use a liquid washing detergent with it as initially had similar issues with powder. Also avoid pods as they won't dissolve at low temperatures! We always get from aldi, cheap cheerful and does the job well!!!

Those of you who love your Samsung Ecobubble, could you please talk me through exactly how you use it? Which cycle for regulsr clothes, what detergent and where? I have a new one and find it not v effective - sports socks still smelly after a wash, mild food stains on kids' clothes not removed. I'd have thought the cotton cycle should be the most thorough, but I'm having slightly better results with the Mixed load cycle, but it's annoying that that only takes 4kg because I deliberately chose a machine with a big capacity for larger loads. I use Persil non-bio liquid which always worked well in my previous machines. I'm reluctant to change because my son got a rash when I once tried Fairy non-bio powder, but maybe I'll have to. Any advice gratefully received!

I have a very old ecobubble and use the 'daily wash cycle' mostly. I increase rinses to 4. I use the cotton wash for towels and bedding and increase temperature to 60⁰C. I mainly use powder and put it in the drawer. If I use liquid I have a wee blue plastic dispenser I need to put in the drawer. If I use pods (rarely) I put them in a net laundry bag or they end up getting stuck in the rubber seal.
