Hi, we are at the end stage of home buying process and am confused about double size bed will fit or not , room size is 2.8m×2.8m. Please give me some suggestions.

A double bed is 2m by 1.35 (divan as bed frames are larger). So yes, it’ll fit.

It will fit yes. I'd say that's pretty much the minimum dimensions for a functional double bedroom - you just about have enough room for 2 bedside tables and a wardrobe as well as the double bed - but it would feel rather cramped. Fine for a guest bedroom but not acceptable for a Master bedroom.

@TalaxuArmiuna in your floor plan you have so much space between the wall and bed where as the actual bedroom no space at all . Check the attached file.

It's a very small double, probably not big enough for a kingsize bed.

ah you didn't mention it was an L-shaped room. that loses you most of the floor space. your usable room dimensions are more like 1.9m x 2.8m - the official measurements will be into the little vestibule where the door is.

with those dimensions I would definitely not try to put a double bed in there as permanent living arrangements. I would put a single with under-bed truckle there so that it could make an extra sleeping space very occasionally. a couple of adults sharing definitely need more space than that except if putting up with cramped accommodation for 1 night.
