How to get stain out of kettle

I have a white kettle and the outside has been stained by tumeric. I must have had spice on my hands when I went to use it whilst cooking. Weirdly, it's stained all of one side yellow as though it's spread through the plastic.

I don't know how to clean it off. I don't want to use bleach in case that makes the water taste of bleach. Any ideas?

Try making an oxiclean paste and applying it and leaving it to dry.

Thank you. Will give that a go and report back.

Is Oxiclean the same as Vanish? I'm not sure what it is. I looked it up and it seems to be for laundry.

It’s mostly used for stain removal in laundry but you can use it for lots of cleaning jobs. It’s very useful. You can usually pick it up in pound shops.

Sounds great. Will take a look. Thanks again.
