I have got a galley kitchen and wherever I put the bin and my veg trolley it is in the wrong place for use or in the way

Any ideas? I need a biggish bin and there are no cupboards free to hide it in. Even in the utility room it would be in the way (Mmm maybe I should get DH to move the door back the other way????)

I have the same problem although not a galley kitchen. Vegetables are on a rack in the dining room and the bin is in the cupboard under the sink and about the size of a pint glass so have to empty it loads. Dh, if there is anything 'big' like a juice carton [another ] he leaves it on the side .

But if you've nowhere to put it, you've nowhere to put it. Could you maybe place it infront of a cupboard that is not used very much

I tried that but I seem to be doing a lot of baking lately so it has to be moved again. Even my 4 year old said "We can't find the bin Mummy if you keep moving it."

I got rid of my big bin and went for a small one on the door of the under-sink cupboard when the ds's were smaller and too interested in rummaging in it! Bag only needs changing once a day usually. I keep veg in the fridge - if I run out of space I keep onions and spuds in one of the cupboards.
