Presume the trousers are washable? Isn't most glue washable too? No idea, but suppose you can try washing (maybe turn inside out and chuck into the machine) and see what happens....especially if you think they may be ruined anyway.

Maybe someone who actually knows the answer to this will come along soon though. I'm just guessing...
