Be honest, how tidy is your garage?

Please make me feel better! At the moment our garage is a dumping ground. It has the washer, tumble dryer, chest freezer and then just boxes left from when we moved in last year, old toys and my sons old buggys, furniture and god knows what to be honest. When next doors have theirs opens it’s so neat and tidy and they have 2 more kids than us!
Please tell us it’s not just me with a garage like this!

It’s a dumping ground too and I hate it. Our back door opens directly into it and it has a fridge freezer and a tumble dryer in there, but it’s all just full of stuff waiting to be dealt with. If I had a skip I think most of the stuff in there would be gladly tossed away. How often do things that ‘might come in useful’ actually come in useful when you can’t even find them?!

SoupDragon · 23/01/2020 10:56

I can't even get in mine 😂

Total dumping ground that I'm currently trying to sort so we can put our house up for sale. Just found a couple of boxes of things we have never unpacked from when we moved here!

Pretty tidy, we park the car in it every night so we can't cram all the junk in, although the back wall still has loads of flattened boxes along from moving last year. It is at the end of the garden with no power so we can't really do much with it.

Ours is a dumping ground and workshop for DH. But DH is in charge of it as he used to get annoyed when I would clean and tidy it. He completely regrets it now but it's his problem. At least the garage is in a garage block slightly away from the house so I don't go in there very often

Ours is a absolute tip! I never really venture into it, OH uses it to store god knows what, and uses it as a workshop too so it’s forever messy.

I have a double garage and its full of crap.....logs for the fire ....xmas tree....boxing punch bag....contents of my mum and dads house(they died 20 years ago)...and various tools left my previous ex husband.

We we about to move and after emptying most of it into a skip, it's quite tidy!

Well these have made me feel better! Thanks ladies Grin
