Shower door seal - mould resistant version?

I need to replace the seal on my shower door (the pane of glass that swings out when your shower is in the bath, if that makes sense).

Is there such thing as a mould resistant version?

I would love to know too!

Hello,

We sell a range of chrome shower seals which have a chrome finish on the U section that clips over the glass, this means that any mould or discolouring that can happen is invisible.

Here's a link to our chrome section of our website www.showersealuk.com/chrome-shower-screen-seals, if you need any help then please don't hesitate to contact us and we can help find the right seal for you.

Kind regards,
Shower Seal UK

I was going so say to look at shower seal website. I buy 2 at a time and replace every year to 18 months when they discolour.

I was wondering this - mine has gone orange! I need to take it off and clean it, but the bathroom fitter attached it to the screen with some kind of clear adhesive. I’m wondering whether taking it off might mean it won’t stick back on again?

We always used to get orange mould in our old house! But in this one it’s exclusively black. I’m constantly bleaching but it grows v quickly
