Getting rid of fried fish smell

We had sea bass for supper last night and it was delicious. Unbelievably yummy.

But, we've just moved into a new house where the whole downstairs is open plan and the smell of fried fish has permeated everywhere and even found its way upstairs to the bedrooms. I left windows open last night in the hope it would go, but no luck so far.

Can wise Mumsnetters offer any tips on getting rid of the smell, fast?! My lovely home stinks!

Rub fresh lemon over the kitchen worktops and stick half a lemon in the corners of the rooms. Failing that lots of air freshener, windows open and clean doors and radiators with method cleaning spray....! That’s what I do anyway.
