Morning all

The pictures are great tortoise They really do look like they had fun.

ludaloo I hope you got a better nights sleep in our bed last night.

I am feeling positive this morning. I went to bed with a shiny sink, and it was still shiny when I got up (not always the case due to dp using it) I had really let the FLY stuff slide recently ad am quite enjoying getting back on track.

Mornin Jas.

I know what you mean about the sink. My sink seems to be in constant use!

Jas · 30/08/2007 07:39

I don't have a dishwasher. My sink is full of breakfast dishes now, but I can't wash up as I ran out of washing up liquid yesterday and all I have is some persil stuff dp bought which smells like bubble bath.

Morning

Jas I had a much better sleep in our bed thanks...you do fidget about a lot though don't you!

I'm enjoying getting back into FLY too jas, bits I had lost motivation doing are all flooding back to me!

Tort great pics!! Oh how I remember Anxious and Rory! I think we will go back to Haven next year.

Well, not doing much today, I have to wait in to have the thermostat changed on the emersian heater...then we have hot water again!!!!

Haven't got a to do list yet...I might be back with one when I've thought about it though

mOZzy · 30/08/2007 08:33

morning!
no shiny sink here
i am just not into the whole routine .. yet!

but the d/w is on and ds is already at nursery - without tears!!!

to-do mini list:
s/w toilet
unload d/w
clean hob (not brave enough to do the oven just yet)
sweep floors
garden
library
take dd to nursery, leave her and spend the hour with coffee and cake instead (it's her 2nd settling in session and first with me gone ... so i might have to dash back and can't go any further than the coffeeshop )

yaddayah · 30/08/2007 08:37

Morning !

tort The pictures are lovely!

Dc's woke up at 8am (!) and are having breakfast, have enjoyed waking up to a clean and tidy house (for a change)

DS has a party at a soft play centre [shudder] so will be out and about

Have a good day all

Jas · 30/08/2007 08:39

lol @our bed. I didn't even notice.

This new keyboard is taking some getting used to. I keep missing letters as I am typing quite fast (for me)and not hitting the keys properly.

Morning

tort great holiday pics
Jas and Luda lol at your sleeping habits!

I've fallen well and truely off the FLY wagon over the past couple of weeks and need to get back on track. I just don't feel like it though tbh, although I can't cope with the house slipping any further than it has so have to do something about it today.
I'll get myself dressed and then come back with a list

Thanks for all your congrats at my weight loss. I haven't been doing very much to deliberatly lose the weight, I've just been doing what I know I should - not snacking, not picking at the kids food, getting out for more walks/cycles etc...I'm feeling pleased but am a little that no-one (not a single person) has noticed! I clearly have a lot more to lose

Jas · 30/08/2007 08:48

Maybe they have noticed, but just not said anything. I often notice when people have lost weight, but very rarely comment. I'm naturally thin and always worry that I will come across as patronising or insulting if I say anything.

OP posts:
ludaloo · 30/08/2007 08:50

Awwww shouldbe...you've noticed and that's what's most important If you are relying on men...or kids, then they'll never notice. Maybe it is because you've lost it all so gradually, and because people see you often, they don't notice. (well done though, it must feel nice

shouldbe · 30/08/2007 08:52

maybe Jas.... hope so - it must be noticable, surely. My clothes are all getting a bit big - I can pull my jeans on without even undoing the fly lol!

Feeling a bit today - I'm in need some help to get motivated!....ds wet his bed last night so I've stripped that ready fo rthe wash but have done nothing else yet.

shouldbe · 30/08/2007 08:53

thanks Luda Are you availale on MSN at all today? I was going to see when you're free over the weekend to meet up x

ludaloo · 30/08/2007 08:56

ludaloo · 30/08/2007 08:59

Hello flypeeps,
Another one here who has fallen off the fly wagon. In process of decorating hallway and girls new bedroom,so all is chaos. Also have just got the girls a kitten and wish i hadn't.
Have been too busy to post lately and have been in hospital with dd 2.Don't know if anyone remembers me but my little one has just got rid of her tracheostomy so looking forward to a much easier life.
She is starting school next week and my other dd who's 3 is starting pre school so i really need a kick up the arse and some motivation to get the house sorted.

ludaloo · 30/08/2007 09:51

I remember you squatchette I'm glad it will be a bit easier for dd now, I bet it feels a bit strange, both your girls starting school/nursery!
Welcome back

squatchette · 30/08/2007 10:19

Thanks luda it's good to be back it did also take shiny new pc to tempt me into posting lol.
Yes it will be quite strange next week when girls go to school.Saskia is just mornings at pre school and Charlotte just afternoons for the first 3 weeks.Hoping i'll be able to get loads done but need to get things a bit more organised before term starts or i'll be stressed out.
Right i am a slovenly mare and am going to get dressed then come back and make a list.

squatchette · 30/08/2007 10:34

OK The List don't expect anything like GO's i nearly passed out when i read hers from yesterday!

FunkyGlassSlipper · 30/08/2007 13:38

Hi everyone

Shouldbe - people WILL have noticed that you've lost weight, I promise. They are probably just a bit embarrassed to so.

Getting back babystepping is helping me. I just can't do the to do list thing. Doesnt work for me but the daily routines do.

Sounds like you all had a great time away tort

ludaloo · 30/08/2007 14:16

just made a lovely chocolate cake..perfect..rose very well, smelled lovely....then I dropped it luckily only on the kitchen worktop...but it doesn't resmble a cake anymore! I've bundled it all up and put it in a casserole dish! It still tastes very nice ...just looks like shite (quite literally!!)

squatchette · 30/08/2007 14:37

Never mind Luda you could always layer it in a glass with some other bits or pour custard over it maybe.10 out of 10 for effort anyway can't remember the last time i baked a cake.

Well i have done most of what i put on the list .Also done some admin and made some phone calls i'd been puting off.
Haven't put the furniture right in the LR yet as DP is steaming in the hallway and i need his help.
Steaming wall paper off that is ,we don't have a sauna in our hallway.
