Seem to have a mould issue? Or maybe Mildew I'm not 100% sure. Any tips on what to do about it? Should I contact the landlord? Or do I sort it myself? I have a 4yo and worried if its toxic mould. Mould is in living room, LO bedroom and my bedroom... I'll attach a pic if I can! I scrubbed the worst of the mould off living room wall & it smelt quite bad (had to leave the room for a couple of hours!) So dont want to touch it in lo room until she is out. Any advice be great!

It depends on where it is. If it looks like it’s coming up from the floor or down from the ceiling it could be damp. If not you could just be looking at condensation mould - not great for your health, but easily solved with heating/ventilation or a dehumidifier. I live in an old house and we avoid big furniture on the outside walls because it makes the condensation worse

do you have extractor fans in kitchen and bathroom?
Do you dry wet washing in the house?

If you don't ahve extractor fans and dry wet washing, it is most likely to be due to condensation.
Most black mould/mildew is not toxic or dangerous, just unpleasant. Spray and clean with mildew remover, (spray on and leave for a while, it says 5 minutes bu the longer the better) wipe off. Then be strict about opening wnidows, shut bathroom door and open window after shower/bath. Open kitchen window when cooking etc.

A de humidifier can also help
