Sateen bedding

What are peoples thoughts?
I originally wanted to buy dorma bedding (which I love) but MIL recommended a high thread count sateen bedding instead which I have bought.

Just taken it out of the packet to wash and it reminds me of satin which I really would not like sleeping in I don't think.

A few questions:

Is the material cold to touch at night?
Is it noisy? DH thrashes around in his sleep and rubs his feet up and down the sheets so need a material that won't make a noise each time he moves.

Any thoughts welcomed. I am unsure whether to return it and swap for dorma.

Sateen is definitely more fashionable at the moment but, like you, I love traditional crisp bed linen. I bought a sateen set and was really worried at first because it looked just like nylon to my unsophisticated eyes. However, I have got used to it and quite like it. It’s not cold to touch at night. In fact, I read that when it is really hot, traditional cotton is cooler. I don’t think it is noisy but it is more slithery. That said, it keeps its appearance better than crisp cotton after being on the bed. Apparently a lot of talk about thread count is a myth and I am not sure that my set is really better quality. I am ok with the purchase but I think the sateen trend is a bit of a hype.
