To save it clogging up your vacuum, buy a rubber broom and wipe it over rugs/carpet - huge lumps of hair come away!

Amazed!

Rubber glove or shower blade also works (I have a beautiful constantly shedding show lab). I have hard floors downstairs and invested in a robot vac that comes on before we return from our day and it is amazing. Not tried it on carpets upstairs so can't say how it would work on carpet. We can zone off dogs bed so it doesn't push his bowl round the house. It scans where it's been and can see on an app and often there is a lab shape Smile

I've posted that tip a few times. Wilko or B&M do rubber brooms or brushes and it picks up so much hair.
I sometimes run a scrunched up old pair of tights over clothes, and that seems to work too.

I love my cat.

We also have a robot vac (and 3 high shedding dogs). It has rubber rollers underneath and picks up so much dirt and hair off the floors and carpets every day that it is always amazing to me.

I am forever shoving the bin under someone's knows and declaring "look at all this crap the roomba just picked up again!".
